“The Prayer of Tears” By The Rev. Dr. Michael Brewer - 2nd Sunday in Lent

Lakeside Presbyterian Church Season 2 Episode 5

Scriptures: Psalm 27, Luke 13:31-35

Description: Suffering is an inevitable part of the landscape of our lives and our world. Jesus models for us a style of prayer that honors our pain and saves us from falling into despair. This kind of prayer, deeply interwoven in the psalms, is called lament. For our own sakes and for the world around us, the Bible invites us to renew our practice of lament.
